Fight the giants....Claim the land!
So today, I am proud to say that I have successfully finished creating my blog!!! Lol… Though I used a platform with already preset templates, for someone who is not tech-savvy, it was an interesting learning experience and now I have some experience of the details behind building a blog and website. But I would not have known this if I had not chosen to face my giants and claim my land of inheritance. Creating the blog is not the inheritance but it was a process to getting there. The Lord has asked me to write and create my blog for a while now which was proving difficult, but two days ago as I was laying down thinking about how I have not written, I was reminded of a conversation I had with a group of writers about being deliberate and making time to write daily and then a word the Lord gave me at the beginning of the year “to be deliberate and intentional” was highlighted so I decided that part of my daily routine is to write for an hour and by the end, I should have content to post that day (this is my recommended lifestyle).
In times of adversity and trials, we must hold on to the word and promises the Lord has spoken to us. Our strength to press on comes from the reality of who we are in Him. Faith has eyes in the spirit therefore we keep our focus on the Spirit and not the natural. In every faith challenge, everything contrary to the word of God will happen first! We press and behold until we see it, which is the victory! Our weapons of warfare are not natural and the only way to overcome is to stay in Him doing and saying only what we see and hear Him do. The Lord once told me that I need to be fluid like water. Water is not stagnant, neither does it flow in one direction, it is fluid and creates a path with every obstruction it comes across. That is life in Him; fluid, flowing in response to Him. As we move with Him, that we navigate our way through and come out on the other side having conquered. Only those who stand and endure to the end will have the victory!
“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds”- 2 Corinthians 2:10
The giants you see today, you will see no more. We are only able to not see them anymore because we stood our ground and fought the battle. As long as we don’t fight, the giants will never disappear.
“But Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.”- Exodus 14:13
My excuse for not writing was that I didn’t have a platform to post my content and I didn’t know what to write. The Lord reminded me that He will give me fresh words daily to write, so I got up and after 3 days of working on my blog with the help of my amazing fiancé, I have a blog and fresh content!
“But he who endures to the end shall be saved”- Mathew 24:13
You have everything you need right now to overcome! What are you waiting for? What is your excuse today? What is keeping you from taking your promised land? It’s time to fight your giants so that you will see them NO MORE!
I will love to hear your thoughts so please comment and let’s get talking. Don’t forget to subscribe.
