To Wait

Updated: Aug 2

Those who wait on the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not grow faint. - Isaiah 40:31

To wait, is to rest, trust, abide, and be in Him. It is a place of being constantly plugged in all the time. It is a constant state of our daily life and rest.

It is not idle, but rather a positioning to move and respond when the instructions come. Pray, study the word, be intentional about spending time with Him and just being with Him.

In God, there is always grace and strength to keep moving and doing that which He has asked of you because the energy that is being exerted is fueled by His life.

For in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.- Acts‬ ‭17:28‬ ‭

If you are feeling burned out, then this is an opportunity to take a step back and plug into the Lord, realign your self and get your bearings right. You will always find refreshment and strength in Him.

Always in love,

Yika ❤️
